The Student Chapter of the DEAWRA has been a Graduate Student Organization (GSO) here at the University of Delaware since 2008. As a group, we are dedicated to water resources scholarship and to developing a network of future water resource professionals. We hold monthly meetings and social events, and in recent years we have also participated in local community service initiatives and a national grant competition. We also provide scholarships for members to attend and present at conferences across the country. Graduates of this organization come from all different academic backgrounds, and have gone on to work in consulting, environmental engineering, watershed associations, water utilities, and more.
