The DEAWRA has multiple committees that keep our organization strong. Any DEAWRA member is welcome to participate and join a committee. Contact the committee chair(s) for information. Committees sanctioned by the organization by-laws and current chairs are as follows:
- Auditing Committee: Responsible for facilitating and coordinating the annual review of DEAWRA's finances.
- Membership Committee: Promotes the DEAWRA and recruits new members.
- Nomination Committee: Seeks nominations of qualified candidates to serve on the Board or as an Officer and coordinates the annual elections.
- Events Committee: Plans and coordinates the programs and events of DEAWRA.
- Communications and Outreach Committee: Updates the website accordingly and performs outreach as appropriate.

- Annual Meeting Committee: In charge of planning the annual meeting.
